CROCHET WRAPS

Items are crafted with 100% acrylic yarn (as I am sadly allergic to woolens), and are fastened at the shoulder with floral motifs (poncho style)… Perfect for chilly nights by the campfire, autumn/spring walks, even getting cozy on the couch with a good book. 😉

LINEN APRONS

These Japanese-inspired utility aprons are hand-made from high quality, 100% linen. Pre-washed and dried to prevent shrinkage, and top-stitched for durability, these slip-on beauties are great for keeping you clean as you bake, garden, paint, teach, or whatever you wish. Plus, they have loads of pocket space! (Typically, there are two larger side pockets, plus one skinnier pocket and a skinny+short phone pocket in the middle… but they can be segmented further for paintbrushes, tools, etc.)

FOXY SCARVES

This hand-knit faux fox stole is the kind of accessory that not only makes a bold fashion statement, but the double layering also insulates the wearer from icy winds and snow. Knit with 100% chunky acrylic yarns and lined with synthetic polar fleece, it is both easy care (just wash and dry!) and super soft against your skin (plus less likely to create allergic reactions than natural fibers). Not only that, but it’s adjustable! Wear it facing either side, scrunched up or widened out to cover more of your head and ears, or even draped over your shoulders. Perfect way to stay warm as you howl at the moon!

NAUGHTY STITCHES

Studies have shown that swearing may in fact reveal a more intelligent use of language than not. 😉 These framed linen embroideries make liberal use of saucy language while juxtaposing bold colours and words with pretty little flowers. They make for a great gift for *that* friend, or even for self-motivation. 5″x7″ pieces come pre-framed in 6.5″x8.5″ frames, ready to hang or sit on a flat surface.

MOUNTAIN MERMAID SCARVES

These mid-weight beauties are airy enough to be worn in cooler temperatures or even inside. These extra-long scarves range in size from 74″-84″ by 7″-8″ (it is difficult to measure accurately because of the amount of stretch resulting from the chained mermaid scale-like stitching). Weather you wrap one around your neck several times, loop it over your head for added drama, or just let it hang down to brighten your look, you’re sure to find a variation to suit. Land-locked mermaids need to stay warm too, don’t you know. 😉

EMBROIDERED ORNAMENTS

These pretty little 3″ round ornaments will brighten up any room or even a holiday tree. Hand-stitched on 100% pure linen, each embroidery piece has been stretched, secured with a finishing button on the back, and framed inside a rubber hoop. Available in both “every day” and “Christmas” themes. Finished with a length of ribbon it’s ready to hang immediately.

GRANNY SQUARE PILLOWS

A modern-day twist on a retro favourite, these granny square pillows have been handcrafted with love, just like Grandma used to make. With a floral pattern and a zippered pillowcase, they will add cheer to any room and are easy care. The granny squares are hand-crocheted with 100% acrylic yarn, then machine-sewn onto pre-washed and -dried IKEA “Gurli” pillow cases. Pillows measure approximately 20″ square and are available in a variety of colour combinations.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MAGNET CARDS

What better way to snail-mail someone than to send a little gift as well as a card! These gorgeous original images have been printed onto magnets and then turned into beautiful greeting cards which become decorations after reading. Each magnet measures approximately 4.25″ x 5.5″ and is gently mounted on a textured cream card measuring approximately 5″ x 7″. Each magnet-card comes with a moisture-activated glued envelope and is blank inside so that you can add your own personal message.

SLEEP MASKS

Do you need it to be very dark when you sleep? Don’t want your partner’s different schedule to wake you unnecessarily? Or simply want to catch some shut-eye on your next trip? Then these Audrey Hepburn-inspired sleep masks are just the stylish thing! These sleep masks have been handmade with Chinese brocade on the frontside and smooth sateen on the backside, with a layer of light-stopping polar fleece sandwiched in between. Decorated with either braided, pompom, or fringed “eyelashes” and held on with a sateen-covered elastic, they are sure to provide a silky smooth way to relax your weary eyes. Hang it on the bedpost, throw it in your luggage, or even take it to yoga class to eliminate visual distraction in the most elegant way.

PUSSY HATS

What started as a simple means of protest, participation, and solidarity, the “pussy hat” has now become an iconic global symbol of political activism. Well, that… and it also makes for a cute accessory! These hats have been hand-knit using 100% acrylic yarn for easy care (just wash and dry). Because people come in a variety of styles, these hats come in a variety of shades as well: Ballet, Orchid, Fuschia, and even striped (containing all three shades). Choose to leave your hat unadorned, or custom request ear buttons, a nose button, both, or even side-tassels at no extra charge!

FACEMASKS

Way back in the beginning of April 2020, I started making facemasks for myself, family, and close friends. My design hasn’t changed a lot since my DIY post about them… even though I’ve made hundreds of them since then. Plus, I’ve had several repeat requests for masks (from health care providers, even), which tells me I got something very right. 😉

Masks are constructed using 100% cotton: woven cotton (with different fabric patterns) on the front, and knit cotton (t-shirt jersey) for the lining and ties. They have a strip of tin at the nose and a dart at the chin to provide a better facial seal. They adjust to a variety of face sizes and are comfortable to wear (no elastic-ear strain, jersey lining wicks moisture). Fabric patterns are changing weekly… so if you would like an up-to-date image of what is available, just message me and I can send you a photo and more information.
