And having some fun with Monkeyboy Jr.’s music room mascot, Gustav.
Doing some charity work at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Making some personalized gifts for the children of a friend.
Introducing Monkeyboy Junior Jr. to Snoopy… and Peanuts dancing.
The traditional visit with Santa at Bass Pro.
Getting some shopping done… in style!
Enjoying a weekend at the Rimrock in Banff, AB with good friends.
The view from the hot tub, after the *best* massage of my life.
Trying to “burn off” the germs I (we all) contracted this month.
Christmas Eve. Cookies for Santa. Cuddles for brothers.
In the wee, small hours of the magical morning…
Enjoying a moment of peace after the craziness of gift opening.
Things take a turn for the worse. Not that I am grateful that this happened, but I am SO glad to live somewhere that he was cared for.
Celebrating Newfoundland New Year’s Eve at 8:30pm local time. Even though we were sick and exhausted, we still found joy. xo

Oh my goodness, Kate, your little one looks so sick there.
I sure hope he’s all better by now. Poor fella.
It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas season, and that snowflake is absolutely amazing!
Wishing you a wonderful evening!
xo.
Yes, thank goodness, he’s all better now.
It’s a bit of a shocking photo, but it reminds me to be grateful for the good.
Wonderfulness back to you!
