August Break 2012 – Day 12 Bozeman
On the third day of our trip, we finally got to spend a little time with my sister. Technically, half-sister, but I won’t confuse you with the complexities of my family situation.
We only got to see her for a little bit, as the wedding we had come down for was that afternoon, and there was still much to be done.
But we also got to meet her grandmother, Stephanie, over breakfast. She doesn’t have any boy grandchildren, and took an instant shine with the wee Monkeys.
We decided to explore Bozeman a little bit before the wedding, and found some rather grand houses on S. Willson Ave. Total Americana.
One of them looked as though it had been turned into some sort of venue (I was seriously hoping it was for an afternoon tea). 😉
Somehow, we ended up at Costco. But it wasn’t your typical “Canadian” Costco. No, no. Here, we found a veritable sea of flannel…
… a batch of 24 long gun safes…
… and gourmet duck treats for dogs! Uh, yeah. Where are Dorothy’s red shoes when you need them?
The boys were quite happy with the book and toy selections, however.
And yes, a giant green pig DID happen to find its way home with us…
Lunch, chilling out in the room, and an exploding bottle of pink nail polish later, and it was time for the wedding. But that shall get it’s own, special post… or two. =)
