Really lovely Kate.
I love the one with the soft light coming though and somewhat obscuring the petals.
I think that is called “brokeh?” or close to it.

With our freakishly warm Spring everything came early, and now everything is just green, but my peonies are just peeping out, and my June roses are around the corner.

Kate, these are just beautiful!
Extra special for me, since almost no flowering trees actually flowered this year, including the lilacs. 🙁 I am guessing because of the historically mild winter we had.
I think I’d rather have the harsh winter, than to do without the lilacs.
