Hansel And Gretel
It’s that time again. Time for Loose Moose Theatre to put on another kids show, and time for me to take some photos of that show. In this case, the show in question is their uniquely quirky version of the classic Hansel and Gretel, and this go round it is being directed by none other than my very own husband. Woohoo, go David! The show goes up tomorrow afternoon, and let’s just say… there’s still some work to be done. When I was trying decide which photo to use for promotional purposes, the obvious choice was to pick one in front of the witch’s candy/gingerbread house. But. The house wasn’t quite done yet. What to do, what to do?
Why, edit it of course! A little playing around with the candy that was done (plus a big sucker I found online) in Microsoft Picture It! and we were all set to go.
The images look a but blurry when I shrink them down this small, but you get the general idea. It’s amazing what a little “cut and paste” can do, isn’t it? Well, that’s how I spent my morning. I hope you have yourselves a great weekend! And if you’re in the Calgary area, don’t forget to come check out the show at Loose Moose Theatre – 1pm, Saturdays and Sundays for the entire month of February. =)
