Fall Frolic Friday
Around this time (for the last few years) we usually head out to a heavily wooded area and take photos of us frolicking in the colourful leaves. It’s a great way to guarantee that we have some nice family shots to look back on, and a fun way to spend an afternoon together. Sadly, we didn’t have time to head out before my husband left for his conference this year, and you never know what the weather will hold by the time he gets back…so I decided to carpe some diems and shot some frolicky photos on the way home from school yesterday. Here are a few of my favourites.
Our eldest looking all well behaved (don’t be fooled). 😉
Disembodied head – just in time for Halloween!
Frolic, my boy – FROLIC!!!
The baby wasn’t quite sure what was going on…
But that didn’t stop him from getting into the spirit of things.
Though, he wasn’t very keen on being buried under the leaves.
Even though completely exhausted, I had to join in too.
Then I though I’d try for some “group” shots…
The escape artist, the ridiculously tired one, and the goofball.
The baby loved making “sniffing” sounds for the flower we found.
While Monkeyboy Jr. had fun playing with the crabapples.
Me, I was just happy to catch whatever rest I could.
Oh fall, how we love you!
