The August Break 2010 (TAB)
Well, it’s August. And I’ve decided to join my first ever blogging project. While cruising around the blogosphere, I found an “experiment” going on at Susannah Conway’s site. She decided that she needed a bit of a blogging break this month, and I’ve decided to join her. I feel like I need to spend a little less time computer-bound and more time enjoying the little truly nice weather that we get around here. Plus, on yucky days, I can spend time working on updating how my photos are stored and other housekeeping stuff.

So. For the next month, in lieu of writing a bunch, I’m going to take a little bit of a departure from my norm (all 7 weeks of it, ha!) and share August with you through my photography alone. I guess we’ll find out whether or not a picture really is worth a thousand words. 😉 Who knows if I’ll follow through with the whole month – I may find it too boring or that I can’t just shut up about my photos or something. But I’ll just have to play it by ear and see where we end up. Okay now, here we go!
Clematis rising with the sun.
Delphinium in the rain.
Waiting for the carrot harvest.
Not yet blue blueberries.
The Lughnasadh Feast – celebrating the start of harvest with treats from my garden and the Farmers Market.

Woo-hoo, it’s back! 🙂
I just recreated this one…
I think I’m going to hold off doing anything else until Dave gets back…or this one survives the night.
